Tanks Inc. fuel neck problems.

Anyone using a Tanks Inc tank had any problems with the paint getting soft and flaking off the inside of the filler neck? Its flaking off around the filler cap and there is a buble down at the bottom of the neck. Ive also noticed that the rubber coupler that connects the neck and the tank is cracking on the outside but seems intact inside of it. Ive only run regular pump gas and no e85 so ethenol shouldnt be the issue. Im concerned its going to keep flaking and make a mess of my fuel system. Tank has only had gas in it for a little over a year. Car is a 68 Cutlass.

That sucks, thanks for the heads up. I’ve only put a few gallons in mine so I can’t tell you if mine does it too.

You can see the large bubble and a bunch of smaller ones around it. The paint is soft and the bubble is squishy without popping. This is at the tank end of the filler neck.

Went through this same exact problem and they would not help me. Told me the cracking was normal due to summer heat. That was B.S if you ask me! poor quality rubber
