5.3/4L60E swap - trans wont shift
2003 5.3
2000 4l60
red/blue with 2000 Silverado tune
wiring specialties harness
np203 w/ Dakota digital vs.
using an Autel scanner
Pcm recognizes P,R,N,4,3,2,1
VSS is calibrated correctly and reading
I can command shift 1,2 3 but returns to first when I call for 4
this is my second trans I've tried with same results along with the second harness with same results
trans pigtail grounds and power check out.
still need to check continuity but I'll assume its good from the command shift.
maf is throwing a code so I'll fix that because I know that can cause problems but I'm fairly sure it won't be the answer because it was fine because it was fine with the old harness but with t hff e same problems. Either way it will be fixed tomorrow and I'll separate out the air temp with a 4th gen air temp sensor.
Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated. Also ask away for any other specs I've over looked.

Sorry, I dont have an answer for you, but I have a question. How do you command the transmission to shift with a scanner? Im having a P0758 code after I swapped the internal and extrernal harness for my 4l80e. Im thinking its the wiring instead of the solenoid since it shifted fine before the wiring swap. I tried testing the continuity with the connector unplugged but I couldnt get a beep on my multimeter. Im using an Actron scanner.
