Default Question about fuel pressure regulators

Hello all,
I am working on swapping a 5.3 into a 1996 s10. I have seen on this website and others that many people opt to use the vette filter/regulator rather than the stock regulator, and i was just wondering why that was. Thanks in advance!

Easy hookup, short return to tank because you can locate it close to the tank.

Default Gsl392

I've got a gal 392, and I'm running it to the corvette filter/regulator right into the rail, and a return back to tank. It's actually noisier this way, and a little nerve racking , because you can hear the return fuel being sent 😂. I got the walbro 392 and corvette filter right off Amazon.
