The front end will be a 2wd Cherokee axle. Nothing fancy, but it will be stout with disk brakes.

So plans changed. I decided against the Cherokee axle and decided to splurge a little bit. Ended up going with an early model ford straight axle from speedway motors, with forged spindles and disk brake conversion from JohnnyLawMotors. I did start paint work on the panels as well. If everything shows up by Friday I hope to have the whole thing sitting under its own weight (and painted!). Sorry for the potato quality photos, I'm currently on travel and its the best I have.
