Default lq4 engine heater bypass hose?

Hi
I've looked up the heater bypass hose and came up with Gates 18743 or a gates 18777? Which one is it?
Thanks
Joe

Get both, see which one fits, return the other one.

I wonder if this one is actually either of the ones in the first post.

OP, you want either Gates 18743 or Dayco 87629, just go with which ever is cheaper. Both of these will fit perfectly once you trim the longer end to match the shorter end.

The other Gates 18777 hose will not fit right because both inlet and outlet are the same diameter, which is not the case on the water pump.

The ICT Billet is the same as the two hoses I mentioned except its already trimmed, but there's really no need to pay $3 more for the same thing.
