Default Slip joint header collector

Looking at getting a set of American racing headers for my LS swaped gbody. Cant decide if i want to use the slip fit collector flange. Instead of the 3 bolt type. Lots of slip fit LEAKS on the forums. Anyone have anything Good to say about slip on collectors from Any manufacturer?

Only positive thing I think about slip-fit connections are that they provide the best ground clearance, and with the proper clamps, I think the look the best also. As far as functionality, flanged all the way.

If you talking about collector to the first leg of the exhaust I've had good success with wide band clamps. Makes for easy disassembly if needed. Having said I've used the three bolt collector flange again with good success. A tip a I got from somewhere it that coat the three bolt gasket on both side with high temp RTV. Let it set up a bit and both on. Never had on leak.
