1st Gen Fbody under hood space

Is there enough room under the hood of a 1st gen Fbody with a 4.8/5.3 to use the truck intake?

Lots of variables. Depends on your hood, mounts, and potentially condition of your body mounts. I'm running the newer Holley mounts and I believe I could fit it without the beauty cover.

I test fit it with the holly mounts and it cleared but I’d cut off anything on top tha6s not needed.
If I recall I test fit it also with some dirty dingo mounts and it cleared but I’d still cut anything on top off.
