What was was the most difficult thing about sourcing parts for your swap?

for me, I'm not the most knowledgeable on wiring, I hate it really. So hardest part for me was getting OEM clusters to work.
I did a bmw e46 and got all the gauges to work by trial and error since I had to go through the CanBus.
Also did a 300zx, and same thing, got the cluster working eventually using the dakota digital tach and speedo boxes but their wasn't much info on it, especially since many people just go aftermarket.
