1968 Firebird Conversion - Pan, Mounts, and Headers
I've already purchased a Holley 302-3 oil pan. I'm now trying to settle on the correct motor mount swap plates and headers. I originally planned to use Kooks headers, but then I saw Texas Speed's headers. They're about 50% of the price of the Kooks. https://www.texas-speed.com/p-4273-t...e-headers.aspx. Anyone with experience with Texas Speed headers or the Kooks? Holley has a good option, but those are also a lot more expensive than Texas Speed. Also, I'm looking for advice on which ls conversion motor mounts I should use (with any of the foregoing headers) to get the optimal angle and to get clearance for the headers, pan, and steering/suspension? Dirty Dingo Double D's? Holley's mounts? Other options?
Thanks!
