LS Swap Ignition (starter) Wiring Good Evening All,
I am trying to get a handle on how I will wire up the LS3 harness to my 1973 Corvette, in particular, how does the start wire from the ignition normally get wired, do I use the existing Corvette wire or do I tie it into the harness and have it go to the starter via the purple wire?

So two different things needed here.
1. Start to the starter needs to go thru the purple wire and neutral safety switch on the shifter if you have an auto. Only on when the key is turned to start. If you have manual car there be a clutch interlock switch so you can't crank until you depress the clutch. S
2. ECM needs 12 volts in start and run. Should be a pink wire coming off the column ignition switch that can supply the 12 volts in start and run. Same for auto or manual.
