Default My LS Swapped Sonoma (S10)

Truck: 1998 GMC Sonoma Ext Cab (original 4.3 auto 2WD)
Engine: 2005 L33 5.3
  • New Rotating Assembly (Crank, Rods, Pistons) STD size overhaul
  • Ed Curtis Custom Camshaft
  • Ported and Polished (305 cfm) 799 Heads with Rocker Upgrade
  • LS6 Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, Injectors
  • Stainless Works Long Tube Headers
  • Current Performance Harness, Mounts, Radiator, and Fans
  • LS Brackets and Dirty Dingo Accessory Brackets
  • LS2 Water Pump
  • Stock 4L60e Overhauled and Upgraded to 4L70
  • Circle D 3k Stall
  • Ford 8.8 Swap
  • G Body Upper Control Arms
  • QA1 Extended Low Friction Ball Joints
  • Flex Fuel Factory Fuel Pump with Corvette Returnless Fuel System
  • Ground Force Crossmember
  • Trick Flow Steam Port Loop Kit
Going for a smooth, solid, grunty daily driver. And obviously, I'm not at all particular on body appearance, kinda gives it a sleeper effect anyway... until you see the 295's and the 8.8 under the back lol...

Still got hoses to run, wires to tie, and tunes to tweak but its getting there. Im sure Im forgetting stuff, but feel free to ask questions, I've been studying and working on this thing for a year and a half now and have acquired knowledge and parts and can provide pictures and support. Ill keep you posted on results. Probably 2 more months til its street-worthly. Long time coming

Got the new Alt/PS bracket and the drive all lined up... Gotta do intake, tranny lines, and exhaust and it should hit the road.

Looking good. I personally, won't ever do anything but a 4l80e again.

Squeezed in a big 4” intake with MAF today. Minimal clearance but it fits!

Used my trusty ole plasma cutter and TIG welder to make a custom aluminum overflow tank out of scrap pieces.

also laid out my exhaust, waiting on a pipe and clamps then I’ll fab it up. Single-Side true duals xpiped with magnaflow straight thrus

What intake tube/filter are you running? Getting ready to start a Blazer swap & that looks like it would work out perfect.
