Looking to square away my fan wiring for my LS2 swap. I picked up a Ford Contour fan from the JY for $20.
For those unfamiliar with the Contour fan:
1. it blows air!
2.) it's super slim and fits a GM Abody radiator like a glove.
3.) It uses a nichrome resistor to adjust voltage for low/hi speeds
My resistor is bad so only hi speed works- I know its a cheap fix, but id like to wire the fan up for Hi-only. I made the diagram below, can anyone confirm if they think this should work? Planned on running a 40a relay with a 25a fuse.

I believe my core is that same size. The fans aren't an absolute perfect fit, but that's when ya gotta decide between budget and perfection. They fit well enough and I could always trim the shroud and make the fitment even better if I wanted.
