Default P1810 4l80/4.8

Ive got a fresh rebuilt 4L80e with a transgo HD2 shift kit, Circle D converter 3000-3200ish stall. Its behind a cam’d 4.8 tuned with 12592618 OS to be prepared for COS5 and boost.

Ive gotten this P1810 code intermittently and now it is on constant. Just finished the truck so working the bugs out, have maybe 1200-1500 miles on it. The transmission operated fine, hits all gears and converter locks. It shifts hard when the dtc is thrown. Recently got in some traffic and the trans got hot and started shuttering at low speed in 1st gear. Like it was going in/out of gear. Then it started slipping bad, as if it was in neutral then would shutter to life as we were trying to get it off the road. Cools down, operates what appears as normal again.

To get hot it must be slipping. I flash tested the converter and it held at 3000rpm. So dont know what to do now. The trans shop that built it went out of business after the 2016 flood. Anyone familiar with this p1810 or have any input. Im planning to drop the pan in the next weekend or two and investigate. Fluid is nice red color, no burnt indications.

Thanks,
Ryan
