First of all, long tube headers will give the most power & performance sound, so you got that.
X- pipe will give marginal performance increase with sometimes raspier sound than an h- pipe, which can sound a hint deeper. It is most preferred though & I like the x better than my previous h..
Mufflers themselves will be most opinionated answer & the actual vehicle itself will make a difference also.
Also to consider is actual use of vehicle. Pipes dumping under car will make it louder inside of car, which if you ever plan on long trips would be more annoying after a while than tailpipes.
I 'll later be switching to slightly quieter mufflers (pypes racepro) & a better new cutout setup for more versatility. That way I can have loud as F or normal acceptable loud. Years of loud sounds can change your opinions on things. Loud can be wonderful, but can get annoying .
