Crank pulley difference

Default Crank pulley difference

To put this plainly and to skip all the junk I had to go through,

Right now my 5.3 has the corvette crank pulley on it... I need to put the truck pulley on it.

Attached is a picture of the pulley on my engine now. I need the number 3 pulley in the second picture. Will it bolt up fine, will I need a new deal behind it or will I need literally anything at all?

Should bolt on without any issues....or having to buy anything including new seal, although you may want to replace it anyway depending on mileage on orig.

Pulleys swap really easy with the right tool. Nothing else is needed.

Now, do keep in mind that the pulley drives the alignment of the belt and all belt driven accessories.
So the accessories (mounting brackets) must match the type of pulley.
If running truck style accessories, then you need a truck style pulley.

Entire engine new so seals brand new.

I bought spacers for the water pump and bought brackets kits for alternator and power steering pump. So FINALLY everything lines up like a truck setup. Just need the pulley now. Supposed to get it tmr. This whole accessories situation was a nightmare to figure out but there is some light at end tunnel now lol.

however I have another question now that the crank is done.

The water pump spacers have a nipple on them. I believe they go to the steam ports? I was just going to block them off. Thought the steam vents go to pipe with radiator cap
