Default Silverado 5.3 Swap Engine Removal Advice

I’ve got an 05’ RCSB Silverado 5spd (nv3500) and I’m installing a 5.3 out of an 06’ Silverado. Complete with harness, pcm, dbw tac and pedal. My question to you is if I should leave the tranny in the truck since I’m reusing it anyways or is it easier to install the motor and trans as one? I’ll be working on my back. When pulling the motor I plan on going up and over the radiator support.

Leave tranny in.

Ive had to remove radiater core support bracket etc. To remove engine and tranny together.
