It’s getting an LS3, a 700r4 and Holley engine management system. Didn’t like the Fitech (poor support) and no tech tip book other than YouTube, the TH350 really needs another gear, and an LS3 is a better option in every way, it’ll get small bore LS7 style heads and hopefully a fast 102 or MSD , something composite. Maybe better headers as well.

Wow. You don't want to put the Holley system on that engine? Interesting. Well, that's good to know. I've hit a few roadblocks on my build, I guess I'd better detour!!

Read it again. He IS putting the Holley system on his engine and going away from Fitech.
Can't blame him.
The Holley system has far better support and is a more comprehensive system besides.
64post, nice build. I don't do builds as you have pointed out, but do admire a good one when I see it.
Great job!

I read "It’s getting an LS3" as an entire engine. I would assume it doesn't mean an LS3 intake as an LS3 is Rectangle port intake and the 243 heads he has are cathedral.

I agree with superiority of Holley system, have had terminator on my 496 Chevelle since 2014 and have Terminator X for my current build

Yes, the plan is Holley HP for 58x because I have it, LS3 .005 over 377 ci, aftermarket LS7 hand ported heads with smaller intake valves suitable for LS3 bore, smaller intake ports than LS3 heads but flow quite a bit more air with higher location. Maybe LOD will be finished developing their LS7 But most likely a composite FAST or MSD, all three will fit under my hood.

Sweet build. A++

The Cobra R rims look perfect for the car.

You have a part number or fitment for the Hedman mid lengths? Starting an LS swap myself. Great thread!!
