Default Gauge acting funny/ no start

Hello everyone, I have a 2000 silverado which was originally a v6, I just got done swapping a 5.3l in and now my park lights are flickering with key off, works normally when key is turned on. The charging light is just shaking around 9 volts, temp gauges just rises. The truck will not turn over from key and fuel pump doesn’t kick on. Ground issue? Motor will turn over by jumping starter. I originally had this engine setup in my square body but I’m getting it ready to put a 6.0 in.

Are you using the pcm from the same year as the truck? What bcm are you using? These are the most common trouble areas when doing swaps since people assume that all the computers are the same. A few pinouts get changed every few years and the whole thing goes to crap.
