Ranger lq4 swap help

I’m sure this is on this page already and I just can’t find it. I have a 2001 ranger 2wd with a 4 cylinder that I want to do my first ls swap on. Anyone have any tips or advice? My goal is to get it all mocked up and running to get the kinks out and build a new motor overtime for boost so room for that would be a big deal.

Try doing a SEARCH on it. IIRC, I e seen at least one done on here before. Be sure to use the yea
r and/or generation of Ranger.

I haven't been able to find anything on the non i-beam Rangers for LS swaps. You might be better off searching the various ranger forums if you haven't already. That is a cool project though. Something I wanted to do with my Ranger a long while back but never had the resources to. Are you building a street truck or more of a pre-runner?

Thanks man. I’m going more sleeper/Street truck. Something you can drive around on the weekend and still take to the track.

Sucks there's nothing out there on the 98-01 Ranger 2wd with the coil spring front suspension. I would like to put a 4.8/5.3 in mine for a DD. The 2.5 is just too old and worn out.
