Cadillac CTS seats in a LS swap
My LS2/t56 swap in a 63 Chevy II wagon has finally had some new life breathed into it. My swap has been put n hold first after my place of employment for 16 years closed unexpectedly then a herniated disc issue last summer that I'm still dealing with but navigating. To the point, I'm looking to install some 2006 Cadillac cts seats in mainly due to the integrated shoulder seat belts secondly because they are nice comfy modern seats. I've been searching about and I've found some bits and pieces of info out there regarding wiring but I've yet to see any good examples of mounting brackets. Has anyone here used them and if so would you please share your experience with mounting and wiring. Any help or ideas is much appreciated. Thanks
We have adapted a couple
and sold a few to other hot rodders
none of which have had any real issues with mounting
the bracket that mounts to the rocker is the biggest challenge.
it will make it a little easier if you get the front "hooks" off a donor
and use them as the front mount.
There are many variations of the seats, what power options do you have?
PM me for best results if you have any specific questions.

Jus my .02 on the seat mounting. Make sure you reinforce the floor. Unlike b-pillar shoulder belts the integrated seat belts put all the force in an accident on the floor of the car. I'm not familiar with under side of your wagon but I would try and add something that ties into the rockers side to side or if you are running sub frame connectors maybe tie into them. Don't just use big washers under the mounting bolts.
