Hi my names Michae and I’m 24.

Currently building my 99 mustang v6. Planning on drag racing the car. First ever car build. Pretty much wanting to do the most on my own as possible (to learn as much as possible). Right now I have been gutting the car out as much as I can and just getting ready to pull the engine. I have not bought any parts for the car yet because I’m not really sure where to start. I know I’m wanting to get a 5.3 in the car and a powerglide. 8.8 rear end. Custom drive shaft. But other then that I don’t know what else I need to be looking for. I’m looking to start out at around the 500hp range hopefully. Pretty much a budget build nothing too crazy. Eventually would like to go single turbo. Note I have never been in a drag car so I’d like to start out NA until I get used to the power and the feel of the car. I’d like to run 275 tires. I’ll take any help criticism just don’t bash me too hard.
