My advice would be to do your best to search and read all of the C4 swap threads you can (You won't find too many). Then start thinking about specific questions. Also be specific about what parts you are trying to adapt. There are many styles of T56. There are also early and late style C4s as well.

the biggest thing of fitting a t56 in a c4 is the c beam or whatever that thing is called. You need one of those to get the trans connected at the rear. There was a company many years ago selling that part for $200ish, but I'm pretty sure they are long gone and not selling them any more. The zf6 had that provision at the back. Unless you can build your own or buy one, you won't be able to use the trans by itself.
