Need help; too rich Hey y’all,
I LS swapped a 67 C10 for my dad. It’s a 2004 5.3 out of a Tahoe. It has a Texas Speed 224r cam and .660 springs, BP Automotive swap harness with a new Delco Mass air flow sensor. It has been Dyno tuned and data logged by the same tuner.
The truck will run great for a couple days, then all of a sudden it’ll throw codes for running too rich on both banks, and a MAF sensor code. (P0172, P0175, P0101) When it does this; it’ll want to shut off everytime you come to a stop. Have to 2 foot it like an old carbureted engine. It seems that once the truck is shut off and restarted it’ll clear right back up and run great for a few more days. I can’t find any rhyme or reason for what it’s doing. When I put it in the scanner everything looks good, bestI can tell anyway.
