I have a LS1 (2001 Corvette Engine) In my 1971 Nova. It will have a 4L80
I Picked up a Wire Harness (Red/Blue). looks like it was out of a 2005 GM Van LQ4.
The first thingI noticed is that the Fuel injector connectors were not the same. After a quick search I found adapters.
Now with that said should I expect to have more terminal end fitting not fit? Should I expect to find more adapters?
Those fuel injector adapters are total junk. They can literally fall apart in your hands. You'll end up with loose connections sooner or later. Best to buy the connector pigtails and solder the wires to your harness.
You're most likley going to find out that the van has a cable throttle body and the Corvette has DBW. Its doable with that harness, but it is going to require some work, and if this is your first swap, it will probably just frustrate you. Unless you really like wiring and are good at it, I would recommend getting a new harness. These days they can be had for relatively cheap and since these engines are getting older, new wiring isnt a bad idea.
