We are keeping it a leaf spring car. I had Kim Smith at Smith Racecraft build me a set of his split mono leaf's for us. Will go with his Assasin Bars and rear sway bar as well.

I built these new front leaf spring buckets for the new Smith Racecraft split mono leaf's to ride in. There will be four different ride height adjustments.

Here is a shot under the car where the buckets will drop through the floor under the back seat attached to a flat plate welded to the floor pan.

You can see how the buckets are now welded to the plates and will drop down through the floor.

I bent up this bar today to tie together the new spring buckets. This will tie into the rear sliders with a tube frame.

I ran the frame connectors from the main hoop all the way up to where the front stub bolts on.

Trunk plates will be welded to the floor then the sliders will bolt to them.

Nice can work brother. I'm a welder/fabricator but I definitely don't have your knowledge of building chassis stuff.

Rear sliders mocked up.

We are going to shim the sliders so the face down towards the rear end.

That’s a Speedway Chrysler slider.

I don't think he is on LS1tech.
He is a trucker hauling pork out of the Iowa Pork (I think that's it...) plant in Hospers.
If you ever see a bright yellow Pete pulling a reefer it might be him...
Anyway, have a good one!
