Default 6.0 from Chevrolet SSR

I’m am putting a 6.0 liter from a 2005 Chevrolet SSR into my 1967 chevelle and I can’t find a definitive answer as to which FAST intake manifold to order. Some are telling me to order the lsxrt and some the lsxr intake. Fast wasn’t confident and summit had zero input To give me besides “what did fast say”
. L M Performance has the LSXR intake listed on their website as the intake for the SSR but I wanted to verify on the phone with someone before I ordered but it goes right to voicemail with no callback so far. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

as long as you get a cathedral manifold, either will fit. one is taller for trucks the other is lower profile for cars.

Use what fits under your hood. From watching Richard Holdener dyno tests, there is no power difference to speak of between the two.

Going in a car I'd definitely use the lsxr. You need to confirm that it'll work with your alternator.

Ok I can't speak for the Fast set-up but I can tell you that an 07 tbss witch has a huge truck intake fits nicely under the hood of my 68 chevelle with a full inch to spare at its tallest point.

But anyway talk about the whole kit & kabootle what a pull-out you found there !!! Looks like a days work making the crate.

No kidding, that is the most complete takeout assy that I have seen. Been casually looking at some takeout swap assys that look skimpy in comparison.
