LQ9 wiring help, obd2 I just purchased a nice 2002 LQ9. The guy did a good job at disconnecting and not cutting the harness. He included the under hood fuse block too. It looks good, but for the life of me, I cannot find the OBD2 port. Where on the harness would this be (I have the schematics, but it doesn’t really show “where”. Is there a harness or block that goes under the dash that I’m missing, and that one or more of the plugs I have on my current harness, ties to that?
The OBD2 port is part of the chassis harness and not the efi engine harness. You can get one from any salvage yard. So, on the OBD2 port, connect pin 16 to battery, pins 4 and 5 to ground, pin 2 to blue PCM connector pin 58. Thats it.
