PSI Harness Speedometer Wire

PSI Harness Speedometer Wire Im in the process of hooking up my Autometer Speedometer to my PSI wiring harness and I have some questions regarding which wire to tap into. On the PSI harness there is a black wire that is for the "speedometer module." Can this be used to signal the speedometer, or do I have to directly tap into the VSS wire?

HOW DO I WIRE UP MY SPEEDOMETER?
• Connect our black "under dash" wire to speedometer. NOTE: Do not tap into VSS wiring in the harness as this can result in the transmission NOT shifting due to a split VSS signal. Following installation, ensure proper calibration of the speedometer per the manufacturer’s instructions.
