08 Tiburon engine swap
I did not mean to come off as a jerk before, but was trying to bring a bit of reality to this dream. What I said above still holds, as brutal a truth as it is.
I might advise you to make sure that shop in KY knows what they are doing. They'll all say "Oh yeah, we can do it." Ask to see visual evidence of their previous jobs AND how much it cost them.
Don't want this so bad that it blinds you to reality.

I recall this has been done over the years. I recall a Civic...and some sort of Dodge Omni thing back in the day...

If you go down this path, remember the skillset needed to order pre-build/off-the-shelf parts and assemble them is completely different that what is needed to develop all the needed parts for a completely new swap application. You will want to make sure the shop chosen is up to the R&D challenges and is equipped with proper tools/equipment to accomplish it in an efficient manner (you are paying by the hour not by their progress within the same hour).
It would also be better to start with a shop that has significant experience with the LS4 and their transverse layout. They likely would already have a portion of the R&D figured out and would only have to adapt from there vs. completely reinventing the wheel.
Here is some inspiration: 88 Fiero with LS4/F40 (6 speed manual) in the rear.
