Default Vintage air usable with ecm?

Hey guys,
I know questions like this have been asked over and over but with all the searching I have done I haven't really found a clear answer yet. I have a 1970 Chevelle with an LQ4 from a 2005 chev express van, the car also has vintage air and dual flexalite fans. I'm trying to wire the A/C so the ECM knows when it comes on. The ECM controls my fans and I would also like for it to know so the idle will be bumped when the A/C comes on. As it stands the fans are wired with relays to the ECM, the A/C isn't wired to anything yet but i do have the option of either a binary or trinary switch if one would be easier. I am using the vintage air control panel and their ECM to control the A/C I just want the LS ECM to recognize the A/C is on to turn on the fans an d bump the idle.
Hopefully someone has successfully done this and will chime in.
Thanks

It's tough to find information on this for sure. I've been working a bit with Mitch from Swaptime and his Musclecar module and my Gen 5 L83 with a Restomod air unit, I think he said the Gen 4's operate the same but I'm using a PWM fan as well.

The module has a pin out to the E92 ECM X1 pin 32 for AC request (AC compressor clutch relay control), through a relay to get the ground signal. I have to go back to my notes to verify how I wired it up. I added a factory AC sensor to the high side of the AC system, got that from BPAutomotive. Mitch made me a plug to go from that sensor to the ECM with three more pin outs.
Pin 6 AC pressure sensor signal
Pin 21 AC pressure sensor 5V reference
Pin 22 AC pressure sensor low reference

I did a complete rewire from scratch so that's as far as I've gotten, hopefully it will help. I can see how you could have it control one fan relay but I'm no help to you with the dual fans or high/low control. I think I'm going to start testing my electrical today but I won't have it running for a while so I can't even confirm if it works yet.

Default Ac

I have used Vintage Air on several swaps, no issues....use a trinary switch, not binary to turn fans on in AC mode...if you want to split the fans, you should have two trigger(ground) wires out of ecu, send one to each fan relay...if you desire both at one time. Pick the temp you want and hook that ecu signal wire to both relays. Have done this many times and no problems at all......

Trinary verse binary depends on your particular setup. I'm running my Vintage Air through the factory e40 ecm and use a pressure sensor with a binary switch. Call Brian at BP Automotive and he will walk you through it.

My Vintage air kit I have wired to the fan relays to turn it on. I should(ve) install a diode or something. Since the vintage air is a stand alone system but they are sharing the fan, my PCM will set a fan DTC for it running when its didn't command it on.

Cut LS I solved that issue with a small micro relay off the pcm to control the fan relay. So the micro relay and the trinary switch control the fans and no codes being thrown since the pcm is isolated.

I let my PCM run the A/C, it bumps the idle and runs everything nicely. The only thing I added is an additional relay and switch to manually engage the cooling fan...sometimes I’ve been stuck in a situation where I wanted to run the fan to keep temps cool without it cycling on and off.
