Default 02 LQ9 Engine Drive By Wire To Cable

Hello!

Not sure if i'm posting in the correct area so i apologize if not.

I'm in the midst of swapping my 97 mustang GT to an LS setup.

My only concern is that the engine i plan on purchasing is drive by wire and my pedal in the mustang is drive by cable.. Would i just need to purchase a cable throttle body along w the drive by cable harness? or is it not that easy?

The engine will be paired w a T56

Also off topic - For an LQ9 engine is 150k miles too much to perform a cam swap w valve springs?

Thank you!!

You will need the pedal assembly from the car the engine came in, or one like it.

So it would probably be best to just buy a drive by wire pedal and mount it along w the PSI wiring harness for it?

You would need to make sure your PCM has the driver for the IAC.
