Ls3 in fbody wiring harness
got a bit of a project in my hands here. Got a 24x 418ci ls3 based stroker. Went with 24x crank because at the time I bought a 98 ls1 harness a member had reworked doing the same thing I was doing to my 95z28. Bought the p59 hanress and ecu because at first it was a 5.3/6.0 build then Escaladed to the stroker. Got a good deal on block and my buddy is a machine shop owner. Made sense to go ls3 base while it was gutted. I want to keep the ls2/3 knock sensor style without having to run ls1 on the outside with my headers and etc I plan on turbo later so it’s tight space. I’m repining a tbss harness as we speak because I though it was a early year tbss with 24x but the guy sold me one for a 58x reluctor and of course my crank is 24x. Anyway can I repin this to work with my fbody with just basic stand alone to get it to run and the e67 pcm I have? I plan on running aftermarket basic essential gauges if I can’t get my stock cluster to work. Has anyone had luck with ls1 sensor on the ls2/3 block? The harness I got has a few odds and ends missing and I rather do it with a ls2/3 based harness like my engine. Looks cleaner. Thanks
