Soooo... you live on Kauai. Do you travel for work, or for pleasure, or how did you end up in Utah and the Carolinas?
The truck was found in Utah? What's the story on how you found / acquired the truck?
And then the Vette was found in the Carolinas, and you tore it down there? Why not just tow the Vette to where the truck is and do it all in one spot?
Ok, I'll try to unpack this complicated question
Drivers License says Kauai, been road tripping the lower 48 since Oct 2018. "Handyman" self employed location doesn't matter. Traveled 450,000+ miles on 2 vehicles.

'51 truck was a birthday gift to myself
Purchased off Ebay. Was in Minnesota, but was just a middleman shop. Guessing was a Tennessee truck based off title.
Girlfriend was on kauai visiting her ohana and I was left unattended, her fault. I then hauled the truck to Utah. My family stays in Utah, various areas.

Being the truck was basically complete and only needing a drivetrain, I decided to go LS. Planned on a truck or SUV, explorer rearend, mustang II front end etc.
I found another Ebay deal on a '03 C5 with 6speed.
Scooped it up outta GA and took it to a buddies shop (Jacksonville NC area) to break it down in a shop vs outside.
plan on taking drivetrain to Utah and marry the 2 pieces. I have the truck in a 10'x20' storage unit.
At 139.00 a month I get covered, gated and secure place to work on it. Only limitation from them is "no storing fuel"

Here's a picture from our back yard. Intended location for VETTRK

Eastside kauai

Thanks for answering my question about how all this disparate vehicles came together. When I saw the thread come up again I realized I had never acknowledged your response. 450,000+ miles since 2018!

I've driven by that for over 30 years while vacationing on Kauai. We stayed on the east side a few miles north of that beach. Haven't gone the last two years due to the china virus.

Default Blow me down

When I took the Torque tube to be modified. The shop owner asked if I was going to run boost, and if so to build the impeller shaft to accommodate the added power and stress.
I said 5-7 lbs would be my intentions if I did. I have NEW remote turbo kit, with piping and intercooler. I purchased the kit to run it on my 2uz-fe (4.7 v8 4runner).
A remote turbo isn't anything new, however how I was running it was. Traditionally you get your oil from the motor and sump pump it back.
Say you have a ruptured oil feed line, your motor now has no oil. So my thought was to feed the turbo its own oil supply, not hard.
In this case I'll have the remote turbo probably mid frame. Oil will gravity drain into a motorcycle oil tank. Then use a low pressure sump pump to push oil threw its own oil cooler, then to the turbo.
I purchased the Holley Terminator Max X, so fuel management shouldn't be to hard.

Ya it was a tough pill to swallow. The torque tube project cost a pretty penny.
$3665.00
but having a one off custom corvette roller BOLTED to a 51'... Worth it in my mind..
though the part cost as much as the 51 or c5 corvette itself. LOL

Oil pump is just a generic low pressure sump pump.
Actually the whole turbo kit and items all generic stuff. EBay kine stuff

Front end disconnected, time for the rear and then they are getting the boot.
C5 rear sub assembly will slide under for storage and mock up
