made a little more progress. Waiting on spherical bushings for the rear end then I'll get the 8.8 installed so it can be rolled around again.

Ended up taking the wife's twin turbo 4.6 2v mustang to the track Sunday. Made 5 passes total.

1st pass was 93 pump gas and 12 psi and about 15 degrees timing. 2nd pass was same boost and 50-60% e85. Not sure on timing. 3rd pass was 14 psi

4th pass was about 17.5 psi and it ended up hitting boost cut and reverting back to wastegate about 5 seconds into the run. So I raised the cut up 1 psi and made another hit.

Last pass of the day was awesome. I didn't plan on running a full 1/4 but it felt good so I stayed in it. Set a new PB for myself in any car ever as well as this car. Boost was pretty steady at 17-17.5 and about 17 degrees of timing. It still has a little more left in it. Not to bad for a 3440lb car with AC. Maybe the wife will make some passes next time.

looking good!

i had to hammer the dogshit out of my tunnel for the electrical connector and the shift arm as well as up by the cooler line fittings (make sure you give it a good bashing up there too) to make everything fit.

mounted my ECU there as well

Made a temporary back panel until I get a 6.86 dash.

I've used these on both my other builds and really like them. Plus they come with alt wire and flex

Spent a few hours and finished the downpipe and made a hole and trim ring. That ring took way to long to make for something so simple. I'll buy one next time.

Wastegates are welded on. Went with the speed daddy 44mm on eBay. I took them apart and inspected them. One had a pinched diaphragm. No issue other then that.

It's kinda busy here in this corner. Still got to get the intercooler pipe routed and the WG dump tubes.

Current performance PNP relay harness came in today so I got that mounted. I like this newer style vs the other one. It's more compact.

Didn't get much done last time home but I did pick up a set of 243 heads. I put the cam in and bolted the heads down, installed the hot side for the final time.
lots of fuel system parts arrived over the past few weeks so I might be able to start the car soon. Stock mustang fuel tank and sending unit with 2 525lph pumps. Going to run 10an feed and 8an return. Put some bulkhead fittings on the stock hat hopefully.

Things starting to come together

Everything clears the hood.

I understand why people spend the money on the billet hats for multiple pumps now. I'm determined to make this all work now.

Stock mustang power steering line and GM truck tube with a swage fittings. Just need the pressure reducing kit and power steering will be done.

Had to cut a hole for the hat to fit. Can easily pull the pumps now 😂.

Going to see how this location works for coolant pressure.

Fuel pump relays being mounted close to the pumps. I'm using The current performance wires that were meant to go directly to the pumps to trigger these relays since the wire run was going to be rather far. Relay triggering a relay but it'll work 😁

A little tricky getting that in but it worked.

I went for the first fire up over the weekend. Had a fuel line leak and other things the damn heater core leaks so I get to pull the dash back out later. While I'm in there I'll be putting in a new evaporator coil and maybe remove some weight from behind the dash

Took out the rear bumper bracket. Saved more weight then I though

Got the wiring tyraped up and the inner fenders installed since it's going to be driven a bunch and probably be caught in the rain. Don't want water splashing everywhere.

Made a cover to help divert some air. I picked up a stock one from the junk yard but it didn't fit right with the tube front end
