Wrong MAF cause issues?

I assumed all truck MAF meters were the same but now I’m second guessing myself. Ecm is from a flex fuel burb but the motor is all truck parts. I’m getting a P0101 code, are flex fuel truck MAF meters the same as regular truck MAFs? Ecm was tuned for stock truck 25lb injectors and vats deleted

There is a difference between some meters. Some of the Chinese MAF's sold on ebay aren't calibrated the same as OEM truck meters.

Thanks, I think I jumped the gun. Cleared the codes and the only thing that came back was one for evap. Still fighting a high idle (1300) that creeps up to over 2000rpm. I’m down to rigging up a smoke leak checker and looking for vacuum leaks.

Did you clean the TB at any time when you did the engine swap…

Yes, cleaned it. I just swapped a known good IAC valve in and bam, idles like it’s supposed to.
