Default Help me with these ports please!!

I am just finishing up my swap into a 79 camaro. Not quite sure where these ports go.
- PICTURE #1 I know this is the EVAP purge but what’s the easiest way to cap this? Also can it be in threaded and used for the MAT sensor location for the terminator X harness by chance?
-picture #2 not sure where this is supposed to go.
- picture #3 I’ve seen this in other builds go to a port on the throttle body but I don’t have that port on mine.
- picture #4 I hooked this line to the booster posted in picture #5 since it had that on it, is that right?

my best guesses;

Pic #1, where you put the MAT sensor is a debated topic, some like In the inlet runner pre throttle body, others say anywhere on the intake manifold. regarding the Evap purge, not sure about that one.
Pic #2 is the steam port and ties back into your coolant system.
Pic #3 Is the passenger side PCV breather, there should be a port on the drivers side of the throttle body, it plugs into there, again, PCV is another widely debated topic about its efficiency, longevity, and exact routing per your individual choices.
Pic #4 Is also PCV venting? It looks like your valve covers have a couple different routing? hard to tell, literally do a search for PCV routing and your whole day will be busy.
Pic #5 is the brake booster and that should connect to the large port on the back drivers side of the intake manifold.

I don’t see a port on my throttle body at all, here’s the one I have https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fif-70061
unless one of those ports has an attachment nipple I can get somewhere that can be screwed in

the vent on the valve cover in picture four goes behind the intake and is the same line going into the booster in pic 5 the engine came with that connection on it so I figured that’s where it went. Just wanted to make sure

So #2 is your steam vent. It should NOT go to the port under the cap. The port under the cap should go to a overflow tank. The steam vent needs to be in a active port in the radiator system, preferably to a surge tank.

On #4, I can't tell for sure where that's coming from in that pic, but it looks like you have a hose coming off the valve cover. If that is the case, that should not be going to the brake booster. There should be a large vacuum port on the back of the intake that goes to the brake booster.

Thank you, I will double check the line on #4 because it did have that fitting on the line already so I just pushed it in there so it was plugged into the booster on the corvette with that fitting. Any ideas on the others?

Also, you said preferably running the steam vent to a surge tank... what about the stock overflow tank from the 79 camaro, I still have it.

You can't do that. It would fill up the overflow tank in no time than would just puke out all over. It needs to either go to the radiator, upper radiator hose or drill and tap the water pump for a fitting to hook it to.

Yes..The first one below the fill cap is for the overflow and the second one is for the cylinder head steam crossover.

1.) EVAP Emission goes to fuel tank
2) Steam crossover goes to the radiator
3.) Goes to throttle body
4.) Connects to the intake manifold and the back of the valve covers (Check PCV valve in the line before going into the intake manifold)
5.) Brake booster and connects to the back of the manifold.

Awesome thank you for your response, the EVAP... what’s the best way to cap it or is there a way I can convert this into the MAT sensor location for the Terminator X harness?

and on number 3, I don’t have a spot on the throttle body for this, I’ll link the TB I have... maybe I have to take out one of the plugs in the TB? That’s what I’m confused on

MAT or IAT sensor is usually installed in the air intake tube or air box before the throttle body and intake manifold which measures the air temperature coming into the engine. As for where to connect "3" the hose from the valve cover to the throttle body you'll notice there is a threaded hole on the top of your throttle body. This is where you could install a port to connect the valve cover to or you could keep it capped off and install a port in the air intake tube prior to the throttle body and connect your line to there.

EVAP is not one of my strongpoints but I think it's for ventillation of the gas tank.

awesome thanks for the info. Do you happen to know where I can get a port like that or what it’s called for the throttle body? I tried looking it up but I’m not finding what I’m thinking of unless any old port will work that can screw it now the top
