Default Looking for some headers for a problem car (LS conversion)

I've got a late 1940's Mopar with major issues that I'm trying to rehabilitate and get back on the road.

This one had the engine mounted with brackets from "Butch's Cool Stuff," but the person who did the engine install and set up the mounts, welded the brackets to the frame, and bolted everything together did not follow the instructions. The passenger side is particularly FUBAR.

I'm making some custom "adapter plates" to relocate the older SBC style engine side bracketry so that it matches what's currently on the frame. I have neither the time nor the desire to make the frame side "perfect" on this one. I'll "play it where it lies," so to speak.

One of the many issues caused by this botched installation is that the passenger side header touches the rubber engine mount cushion. The one that was in the car was half charcoal, and part of it had burned off. This is obviously not acceptable. The headers that were on it appear to be what the engine mount kit called for, some Sanderson center outlet "block huggger" type. They appear to be identical on the left and right sides. They look just like these from Summit:

What I think I need are a similar design with the collectors slightly rearward instead of dead center, and possibly angled back at the collector outlet. Does anyone have any suggestions that I chould check out. Extra brownie points if they are "available to ship now." Totally awesome brownie points if they are available to pick up at Summit's Georgia location, or any location in the Metro Atlanta area.

We tried a pair of these:

Those resolved the issues on the passenger side, but the driver's side one definitely does not fit and the collector hits the steering shaft.

i have a set of block huggers purchased from ebay - pretty sure you can't link to ebay on this forum, but just search "ls1 block hugger headers" and peruse the plethora of pure stainless chinesium that's available.

some pictures of them in my thread here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...volmaro-2.html

passenger side looks like this

you could also try these s10 swap headers. the driver's side dumps fairly close to the block and somewhat more rearward than the block huggers. blackhorse racing on ebay on has, search "s10 ls swap headers"

last idea, then i'll go away - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g9084?rrec=true

Power isn't at the top of the priority list on this one. The Summit ones we tried were 1-5/8 primaries, and the ones on the car when we got it were also about that size.

Has anyone else used Hedman 68520 headers? Those look about right for this one. Now if I can find some and get them soon, maybe those will work.

And thanks for the pix @bobcratch . You gave me some ideas, even though the specific pix and links didn't look like they'd fit.
