i ls swapped my sons 80,000 mile 3.8 firebird .
, i used a 6 speed body harness , I bridged the clutch pedal switch and bypassed vats under the dash , engine turns over just fine , however , fuel pump doesnt come on . fuel pump is fine i used a separate relay and made a jumper to test the pump. what would cause the car still not to fire? ive checked all and i mean all grounds , all plugs , im really at a stand still . only thing i can think is the 6 speed harness doesnt have a loom to plug in to the auto shifter and some how not allowing signal , i dont know , ive done several ls swaps from lt1 to ls and into older cars but this has me frustrated . or is it something completely different
also when cranking motor , guages work but no rpm reading on tach , any help or suggestions ?
