yea, I know. I quess I should have quoted Jasons69Chevelle.

Just to rub it in a bit, my car is so much fun to drive. It's a huge reward for all the tIme, work and money.
We did close to 700 miles last weekend driving from San Jose to Reno for hot August Nights. Went over hyw 88 to Carson city up to Reno. Drove up to Virginia city one day and on Sunday over Mt Rose to Tahoe city and down the CA side of Lahe Tahoe and back over hyw 88 home.
we also did cruise nights downtown Reno and placed runner up in Friday's Show and Sine Car show.
The car never missed a beat all weekend.

Super jealous. That's a great drive. I'm getting so close. Body shop just has a few things to button up before it comes back to me for plumbing and wiring. I think I told you before, but I grew up in Santa Cruz and spent many years living in San Jose. Hot August Nights was my first major car show with my dad. I also like what you did with your hood vents. I thought about doing that, but wasn't sure since I am keeping chrome bumpers, windshield/back glass trim, grill and hood trim. If I was changing all that to a gunmetal color, I probably would've done the same as you with the hood vents. What I am doing is putting hexagon mesh in them instead of the factory chrome pieces. Your hood looks great though.

I did the Grey on the hood vents to pickup on the spoke color of my wheels. Considered doing the trim and bumpers but in the end, I wanted first impressions to be classic 66 Chevelle.

You're getting there, hopefully you'll be running early next year.

Oh, yes I remember you're from this area.
