Default 1979 firebird wiring to 5.3 ls

So I am curious on what I need to hook up to my starter solenoid on my 5.3 so that all my accessories and such will work. Should I just hook up whatever was on there?

When I wired my "71 Camaro swap, I only attached the original starter solenoid wire to the solenoid. I ran a new 6ga. wire protected with a circuit breaker to power all the "LS" and add on stuff with new fuse box.

On my 80 Camaro project I did it a bit different. 12 volt constant to the ECM off the center big stud on the starter solenoid. Basically the same as connecting the 12 volt ECM to the battery. Switched 12 volt for the ECM I use the HEI wire.
Then I run a 4-6 gauge wire from the center stud on the solenoid around the front of the oil pan to the stud on the back of the alternator.
For the fuse block power wire I have left it stock with the fusible link in place on some projects. On my current project I used a "Maxi" fuse.
