Brake booster for 1970 Impala Hey guys I'm currently swapping in a 6.0 into a 1970 B-body impala, my question tonight is about the factory brake booster. Will I run into clearance issues with the 6.0 swap if I keep the factory 11inch brake booster? Or should I be looking at going to a smaller aftermarket one? Also does anybody know what company is preferred or easy to work with when doing a disc conversion on this style of Chevy? All replies are greatly appreciated thanks!
Speedway motors has a complete 4 wheel disc kit, master power brakes has a complete front wheel disc conversion and scarebird has you gather the parts conversion brackets. You're looking for any conversion that will work for 1965 - 1970. I've had several 1970 Impalas and Caprices. A 1970 Kingswood wagon was my very first car. They all had front disc so I assumed all 1970's came that way. I've had 69 Impalas and Caprices they were all front drum which were awful in comparison.
