I recently bought a 2015 1500 with a 6.2 motor locked up two months after buying it. I was able to find a 6.2 LT1 out of a 2017 c7 how hard will this swap be. What kits are out there to help me. All advice I’d appreciated The LT1 i ordered
Your 2015 has an LT in it now. The LT series of engines has been installed in GM trucks since 2014. If it was factory equipped with a 6.2 it has an LT in it now. It should be an even swap.
ETA: your computer tune will be off for the vette engine and should be reprogrammed to take advantage of the enhanced performance
