Intake swap Presently have a stock intake on my 2003 LM4 with a factory tune in my '39 Chevy. Thinking about changing intakes to something else such as an LS1 or even aftermarket. Question is will it affect my tune?
Won’t require a re-tune to run. If you want the most out of it, you’d need to retune it for the intake you pick. Esp. if you pick an aftermarket one. Going from something like the truck intake to an LS1 you will lose power basically everywhere. You’d need to pull fuel. Going to a TBSS or a FAST or similar, you’d need to add fuel. Either way if its NA, I don’t think you’ll “hurt” anything by changing intakes. But it’s not going to be optimal without a re-tune.
