Alan Grove low mount AC compressor bracket
Alan Grove low mount AC compressor bracket So I've got a ls2 with GTO front accessories. I'm running a Alan Grove low mount AC bracket and constantly throws the AC compressor belt. All new stuff with right at 2000 miles on everything including the Sanden compressor. The Vintage Air works wonderful but the belt keeps coming off. I first attributed it to the idler not being centered so I milled the spacers enough to center it up perfectly. I've used a straight edge and also a small laser to check pulley alignment and everything is straight and true. I also run the belt in the rear grooves on the AC compressor per directions. Question is is there a smooth idler that has ribbed sides to hold the belt on? Anyone have a similar issue and if so what was your solution? Thanks in advance
