Default Issues with U0107 TAC module comm. Pedal/ ECM confusion.

Bought what I was told was an 05 5.3L with ecm/harness/TAC/ and pedal but turns out I was potentially lied to.

So finally got everything sorted I thought...

Was originally getting P1125, pedal dead code.

Got a new pedal ac delco 19370280 (steel pedal) ($40 open box on Amazon, good deal)

Started out fine etc then am randomly getting U0107 code and pedal dies.

Turns out the TAC module is 12590008 which is not correct for an 04/05 engine. Listed as for 06/07 with plastic pedal.

I should have TAC 12588923.

So do you guys think if I get the earlier TAC module it will solve my issues with U0107?

ECM 12586242 (2004)

Or is it possible to run the later TAC? And I just have a wiring issue?

Thanks for any support.

https://www.lsenginediy.com/gm-gen-i...uipment-guide/

This website states TAC units are interchangeable from 03-07, the only diff being the 06/07 pedal being 6 pin vrs 10 pin.

So does that mean I've likely got a wiring issue. Replaced grounds at the harness (tied together and added short piece of 10ga wire to head. Crimped together. Also added secondary 10ga ground to TAC alum body to head.

Still getting U0107.

I can get new connectors (TB 8 pin and TAC 18 pin) with 2+ foot pigtail wire from LSwiring.com for like 80 bucks cdn or I can buy a whole China made dbw harness for $160 cdn on eBay?
