Cherokee swapped ac system build
im a little stumped looking for some help. I swapped a 6.0 in my Jeep and have the ict bracket to allow me to run the Chevy compressor. I have a new accumulator a new condenser and can plumb the lines to my factory Jeep ac head unit.
here's where I'm lost do I absolutely need to program the ac kick down in the Holley ?
do I need a pressure switch ?
Can I wire the compressor into the stock Jeep ac relay?

1. If the Terminator X is controlling your fans, then you need to let the Terminator X "know" that the AC is requesting fans. If your system has a trinary switch, you can wire it directly to the fan relay and it will trigger the fan, regardless of engine temperature. Alternatively, if your AC system has an AC pressure sensor, that needs to be wired as an input to the terminator X, configured correctly, and when system pressure reaches a set pressure, the Terminator X will turn on a fan, regardless of engine temperature.
2. It is also a good idea to wire the AC shutdown relay to keep the AC compressor from overspending under high RPM conditions.
3. The AC Kick is not mandatory, but it can be very helpful with certain combinations to maintain a steady idle speed when the AC compressor turns on.
You can most likely use some of the existing AC wiring to make all of this possible, but I don't know your particular vehicle, so I can't offer any exact details.
