feel like I’m going in circles trying to figure out motor mounts.
Swapping a 2010 L94 into a Buick is hard enough. Hell. Working on a Buick is hard enough. But adding in the word ‘Riviera’ and then the numbers 1971 creates a whole new world of hurt.
Anyway. I’m trying to source a mounting solution. One that’s as easy as possible.
Have any ideas? My ideal would be an adapter plate and the stock Buick 455 mounts. Again for ease.
I hate to tell you this, but you are most likely going to have to fabricate mounts to make this work. Any oddball vehicle is going to create headaches when it comes to mounting. You may be able to make some kind of off the shelf mount work with additional fabrication, but to have a bolt in solution seems very unlikely.
