Default Buying a TAC module

I need to buy a TAC module. The engine (in my '70 Impala), current TAC, and accelerator pedal all come from a 2005 Silverado SS, it is a 6.O liter LQ9.
I have read more than once that the TAC module is kind of a weak point in the DBW system, so i have a couple questions:
Is there a part number on the TAC I have to go by?
Can I just buy any new TAC I find online, or are there better sources?
Do I just buy a GM TAC, or is there an aftermarket part that would be more reliable?
Any advice is welcome!
Thanks!
