Vol-PWM-Fan-LS1 controller

I realize there have been other versions of this posted but this is the simplest way I have found to run a PWM fan off a factory LS1 style red/blue or newer green/blue PCM.

Today, I tested and finalized the Volvo PWM arduino controller code. Low speed might be a bit too fast but I can easily adjust it in the code. This would be ideal for a swap using the LS1 PCM to directly control a PWM fan. Next up is to mod the code for +12v (AC) input to make fan run at high speed. I have found Arduino microcontroller for less than $5 each. Another nice feature is the Volvo fan spins the fan at 'idle' speed for about 30 seconds on power-up and again at shut-down. This happens after the key is first turned on and after shut off.

I gathering parts to take my 78 Nova to dual speed PWM fans. I currently run Derale dual fans but I'm so tired of hearing the fan roar. I just picked up a huge single from a BMW 750I.

If using PWM, your fans will infinitely vary the speed, not 2 speeds.

Are you talking about the early PCM's that use the 2 speed relay system?

I am working on a demo vid showing a ls1 camaro pcm commanding high and low speed fans via my interface.

I'm going to use two PWM drivers and a relay per an earlier post by LSswap. I'll be able to regulate two different speeds but only manually. I'm running the older red/blue ECM.
