Default type 2 p/steering pumps

A lot of the swap kits I see look like they are using the pumps from the 90s jeep 4,0l. will these work? They are more available to me and I can grab a few free ones.

Image above is a 99 jeep cherokee pump and reservoir
Image below is a Eddie motors gm type 2 pump which is the same as the holley one

My understanding is I would just need to change pressure/flow valves

There are a few differences in them. There are at least 2 different shaft sizes, and some have threaded holes and bolts go through the bracket and tighten into the pump, where as others have holes drilled through and bolt into the bracket. But I've mix matched them before by drilling the holes out. They are basically the same pump, just different mounting and flow rates.

I'm not sure if you are looking to use a attached reservoir or not, but it sounds like you can also heat up and remove the tube that are on the majority of these, and then tap the housing to use a -10AN fitting. I will be doing this soon.
